Now that all my dreams
have again been shattered,
the pieces of my heart
will be gently gathered,
just waiting for the next fall.
  
My heart is getting older
each failure takes a great toll,
but now it's time to dry my tears
and work on becoming whole.
I hesitate to believe again,
that love could be meant for me,
it's like I have some foresight
that no future love I'll see.
 
How many times can you keep trying
when you always lose in the end,
I sit and watch my dreams all dying,
never cared much for those who pretend.
